Rolling a joint might seem like a daunting task, especially if you’re new to the process. But with just a little bit of practice, you can become a pro in no time at all! In this guide, we’ll walk you through the steps of rolling your own joint so that you can enjoy your cannabis in its purest form. But first, let’s look at a few more important things before rolling.

How much marijuana is in one joint?

We advise utilising a 1/2 gram of marijuana and 1 1/4 size rolling sheets while starting off. This is a sufficient amount of marijuana for two people, and rolling the joint will be easier if you start out small. For comparison, the majority of pre-rolls found in shops are one full gram in size, however some are available in 2-packs of half-grams.

After you master the art of rolling, you can expand your smoking horizons by switching to king-sized papers and full-gram joints.

Organisation is key

The first step is to gather your supplies. You’ll need some rolling papers (which typically come pre-rolled and are available in different sizes), marijuana buds of your choice, and a flat surface like a table to work on. Additionally, depending on your preference, you may also want to include some filters or crutch material such as pipe cleaners or card stock paper. For all of the supplies you need, you can visit our Shop at 420.mt.

Fill up that roll!

Once you have your supplies ready, it’s time to start rolling! Begin by breaking down the marijuana buds into smaller pieces about the size of rice grains for better burning. Next, take one sheet of rolling paper and spread it out flat on the table before adding the grounded up marijuana onto it. Make sure you spread the weed evenly across the paper so that it is all covered when rolled up later.

Let’s roll…

Next comes the tricky part: Rolling! Take two fingers and place them on top of each other, parallel with the edge of the paper closest to you and begin to roll away from yourself using firm pressure but not too much pressure as this will make it difficult for air passageways within the joint. Once you reach around 2/3rds or 3/4ths of the way done rolling, add any filter material (optional) into one end of the joint before continuing to roll until completely closed off at both ends.

Tuck & Pinch

Now comes another tricky part which is tucking while pinching: Hold one corner between your finger and thumb while using your other finger to press against what would be the inside edge of the paper facing away from you while keeping everything else steady with other fingers being used as supports near either end of what would be now considered “the cone” shape forming itself within our handholds over top & below them respectively as we ‘twist’/tuck with these tips touching each other in opposite directions; leaving only an even distribution & very slight overlap between them when done correctly here which will help maintain its shape during smoking – like creating sealant around joints themselves!

Seal the Deal

And lastly — licks! To keep everything sealed together properly & firmly enough – take 1 quick lick along edges where they meet which should help create completion here; giving us our finished product: A perfectly rolled joint ready for smoking! Allow more advanced users options such as “burrito style folding method” for big blunts if desired though general technique remains same overall with same final result always being goal aim throughout every session so no matter who takes these reigns from here – everyone can still find themselves enjoying smooth sessions every single time if done properly following instructions provided today too (hint hint!)
